Big 12 Rankings: Roaring Sooners, breakups and goldfish

The calendar is now flipped past the dreaded doldrums of October — where 18 and 19-year olds' minds tend to wander, unexpected losses happen and seasons can be lost. Teams can feel the cooler November air now, and with that a fresh breath of refocus as the final games loom. In the Big 12, the top teams have separated themselves by virtue of dominating play. The rest of the conference? From three on down, for now, the rest is still a beautiful disaster of comebacks, home-field disadvantage and Groupon ticket deals that nobody is buying.

Since I know you're browsing and driving, honk if you love the Big 12 Conference (but only after you finish reading this).

FOX Sports Kansas City scheduled to broadcast K-State men's games in HD

Good news, K-State fans. If you didn't think the front of your KSU media guide did a good enough job of highlighting Frank Martin's facial pores, you can see his mug, along with his basketball team, in high definition when the games are on FOX Sports Kansas City.
