Sooners and Wildcats improving; Big 12 replays getting worse

Oklahoma cemented its place in the top spot by lambasting Texas. K-State is still making people shake their heads, and others like Missouri are hanging on for dear life. Ah, such is life in a conference where 70 percent of the league is either ranked or receiving votes.

And, after a rough replay week, officials are now having their calls overturned at a 32.8 percent clip (24 of 73 reviewed plays) - the highest rate since 34.4 percent (33 of 96) of calls were overturned in 2005 - the first year replay entered the league. The current pace, and upward trend, will smash that mark. Oh, it's not being done quickly, either. The average time spent is now 1:42, the second-longest delay behind 2006's 1:43. Cool.
