Statement from K-State President Kirk Schulz and AD John Currie:

“Today’s announcements from the Big 12 Conference and its Board of Directors are tremendous steps forward in achieving long term stability and prosperity for the Big 12 and very encouraging for K-State, our student-athletes, fans and alumni.
"The potential to have TCU as a 10th member would add an institution with proven academic and athletic success in a major market that includes K-State’s largest number of out-of-state alumni. We maintain that the Big 12 Conference has a bright future and that K-State will continue to play a pivotal role in the success of our league.”

Finebaum...what the hell, son?

I'm not really sure what to make of this video. Usually, when some member of the media tries to be a little too self-important, they're serving some sort of agenda, selfish or otherwise.  But this? Paul Finebaum, who has his own network based in Birmingham, Ala., didn't just wait until the end to go crazy.  He did the full Triple Lindy dive right from the start...and right into obnoxious ridiculousness.

My personal favorite part is watching Bomani Jones' eyes nearly come out his damn head when Finebaum figuratively grabs on and pulls him into the proverbial ring.

Of course, I'm sure he'll be back on ESPN very soon because he's an "entertainer." Either way, I'm really glad college sports can't go on strike because then ESPN would force us to watch more of this stuff...

I'll just stick to viewing actual games, thank you much...and in the meantime, if you can figure what, exactly, Finebaum was trying to accomplish with each statement more absurd than the previous one, feel free to email or comment me and let me know. I've watched it twice and still have no clue.
