K-State vs. Kent State - time to let it fly

Just how unbelievably bad Kansas State's offensive performance was against Eastern Kentucky has been cussed and discussed enough by now. That's what a bye week following the game will do for you.

What it also did, however, was allow the Wildcats to hunker down within the friendly confines at Vanier and dissect - at the great detail that two weeks allows for - individual performance, technique, decision making, everything.

Big 12 Rankings: Stable teams in unstable times

Finally, every team in the Big 12 is back to action this weekend starting tonight. The marquee team is in the marquee match-up, new quarterbacks are already stepping into the limelight and the NCAA stat sheets are top-heavy with the teams that make up this fantastic, proactive, forward-thinking, awesomely ledstable league.

1. Oklahoma - As I will be in Manhattan covering the Wildcats and Kent State at the same time, the DVR is set because I don't care if I know the score by the time I get home, I want to see every play between Florida State and the Sooners. I think OU is head-and-shoulders better, but the Seminoles will likely want to pick a fight at home. Watch that? Yes, please.
