KSU AD Currie addresses Oklahoma to Pac-12 report

At halftime of the Kansas State/Eastern Kentucky season-opener, K-State athletics director John Currie met with the media in response to a report updated Saturday that Oklahoma's sole focus was to join the Pac-12.

Currie's message remained unchanged.

"Our number one goal has always been and will continue to be, as long as it's feasible, to strengthen and enhance the Big 12," Currie said.

It’s go time. K-State’s 2011 season is finally here, and Eastern Kentucky rolls into Manhattan after finishing 6-5 last season, including four straight wins to close out the 2010 campaign. The Colonels are picked to finish 3rd in the Ohio Valley Conference this season, and bring back a wealth of talent and experience on the defensive side of the ball. The question is will it be enough to test arguably one of the more talented teams K-State has had since 2003.
