Maryland, Dalonte Hill will talk or have already

UPDATE #3 (Monday, 3:30 p.m.): Several attempts to reach Dalonte Hill have gone unanswered. But, this just in from the Maryland sidelines:

"RT @insidemdsports#Terps getting serious with Dalonte Hill today, working toward a possible deal."

So, there's that...

UPDATE #2 (Monday, 2:20 p.m.): Though folks in Baltimore say an announcement from Maryland is coming one way or the other regarding Dalonte Hill's future with the Terps, nothing official is out there. I'll say this, if/when the news does break, and it comes from a Maryland source first, I won't be surprised. From the beginning of this, it seems that side is much more willing to divulge any information (but that's normally the case for the side that's potentially getting something and not potentially losing...).

UPDATE (Sunday): As of late Sunday, there has been no indication whether Dalonte Hill will leave Kansas State for Maryland.  Hill met with Maryland and head coach Mark Turgeon earlier this weekend.

A new wildcard, a potentially great one for those hoping Hill remains with K-State, is the news that Billy Kennedy has been hired at Texas A&M. While he was a long shot from the beginning, it appears that Turgeon's associate head coach, Scott Spinelli, was waiting to see if he perhaps would be the new Aggies coach.

Since that scenario is no longer possible, Spinelli will join Turgeon in Maryland and fill the position that may have been Hill's to take.

Before the Kennedy hire, a Washington Post report said Hill could join the Terps staff early this week.
