Maryland missed Maserati, buying a Ford Fiesta in Turgeon?

With not nearly the same vitriolic fanfare that Missouri first endured upon announcing it was making Frank Haith its next basketball coach, Maryland still made the college world stop, turn and stare with the late and fast news that it has hired Texas A&M's Mark Turgeon to be the replacement for Gary Williams.

Early returns on the news are not favorable. Terrapins fans believe they are settling for something akin to a 1980 Ford Fiesta after getting teased with the Sean Miller Maserati.
