After the his team's dramatic, 53-50, four-overtime win over Texas A&M, Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder said his immediate thoughts following the thrilling victory were with the students, the band and then everyone else who supported the team.
I was able to catch on video the moment he described, and because so much darkness covered the college football landscape last week, it felt pretty special being able to watch a legend soak up the young energy and atmosphere as it unfolded in front of me.
For those of you who dig the video, I was able to get it using only the Droid Bionic. I continue to be extremely impressed with the quality of video it captures, and now that the Kansas City market upgraded its coverage to 4G speed last week, I'm hoping to bring more in the way of video in the next few months as uploading speeds through the Verizon network are much, much faster than anything I've used previously. Let me put it to you this way: instead of taking 15-20 minutes (or longer) to upload a video to YouTube, it now takes only a couple of minutes tops.
It makes capturing and sharing experiences like the above that much easier, which is good news for you and me both.

Thanks for things like this, Curtis. You're where many of us can't be and I hope you know it's appreciated by many of us "old timers".
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Ralph. You're welcome. Always glad to try and share as much as I can.
ReplyDeleteI love this video Kitchen! This reminds me of when I was at KSU in the late 90's. Only to see Coach Snyder from this vantage point is priceless. It really is Bill Snyder Family Stadium! Go Cats!
